This webcam has a view of Main (Huron) Street on Mackinac Island. To the north is the information booth and to the south is the Arnold Lines ferry docks. The best place and safest stop to stand is on the south sidewalk right in front of the large planting bed. Be perpared for crowds in the tourist season.
The information booth typically has a very nice map of the island. If it's closed, check around for some that could be in a holder out front or on the sides of the building.
