Description EN

Founded in 1845, this Sag Harbor institution's main building has two Tiffany stained glass windows that were added in 1917. The grounds include several buildings including the parish hall, which at one time was the largest gathering place in Sag Harbor. During World War II, this institution housed a canteen for service people, and still later was a movie theater. Today, this religious institution hosts many lectures, concerts and exhibits, in addition to regular services.

The cache can be found on the grounds of this institution near to one of the auxiliary buildings. Access to the cache is over level ground, and no bushwhacking is required.

NOTE: Please be respectful of the private home located on the south side of this property.

This was one of six caches placed as part of the John Jermain Memorial Library's Sag Harbor Culture and History Geocache Hunt. Each cache was located near a site of cultural or historic significance  to Sag Harbor. The Library's geocaching hunt has ended, and four for of the caches were archived. This one, and Henry Packer Deering remain available to find.
