Description EN

Chateau Laroche, like many castles, has it’s secrets. There is a hidden treasure

somewhere that will require you to roam the castle, listen to or question the knights to

answer the clues, but be warned, they have sworn a vow of silence to it’s whereabouts.

Your quest is to search for these clues, put them in the correct order, then use the

information you have to find the path of the treasure. You may find something to take

home as a reward for your diligence. Leave your mark on the scroll within to let others

know you solved the secret of the castle.

1.The main castle door was designed to keep enemies out long enough to get to the

battle deck to pour molten lead through the murder holes. There are 2AA +1 pieces of

wood in the door, all going in different directions.

2. The youngest picture of Sir Harry Andrews was his 19BB Colgate University class

photo.

3. The castle has AA battlements, one for each county in Ohio. Add 11 to that number

4. Sir Harry said visiting the castle was like going backwards in time. He kept a special

clock to show this. D is the number found on his clock when your watch says 4:00.

5. There is a Wild Man kept prisoner in the dungeon behind both a wooden door and a

barred door. There are E bars on that door. Watch out, he is real! Real plastic that is.

6. The dry moat was where a knight would ride his horse through when leaving the

7. Head for the battle deck! Locate the date the door was made. Subtract the second set

of number from the first set, then, from that number subtract the first number from the

second to find G

8. On the upper level of the castle, the second room, known as the armory, was where the

knights armor and weapons were stored. There are H standing suits of armor throughout

the upper level of the castle that a lazy squire has not put away.

9. Sir Harry was green before green was cool. He would place bottles and cans in the

bricks he made from milk cartons to reduce waste and save on building costs. There are

J bricks displayed in a window.
