This cache is part of my Sandwich, MA series of caches that make up my Girl Scout Gold Award project. The geocache is in the picnic area to the right of the parking lot, in a small round flower bed surrounded by stones. Easy to find, this cache is labeled unknown because it is a plant stake with a QR code. Download the i-inigma QR code reading app to your smartphone (free for both Android and iPhone) to scan the QR code for information on the cache location.
This ice cream spot is a favorite spot for Sandwich residents and tourists. The grounds are a park-like setting with gardens of dogwoods, hydrangeas, daisies, climbing roses and lilies beneath mature shade trees. Since the owners live next door to the ice cream shop (as do others in the cottage colony behind it), please adhere to business hours -- April 1st to Memorial Day, 11am to 9pm; Memorial Day to Labor Day, 11am to 10pm; and Labor Day to Columbus Day, 11am to 9pm.
To log this cache, you must use a password. The password can be found by scanning the QR code on the plant stake.
