Every place has veterans cemeteries. Port Orchard near Manchester, Washington, is no exception. This one was just down the road from where I went shopping several times. So, I stopped to take a look around, and remember history.
An interesting historical language observation in this cemetery, carved in stone, was the old use of the term "Portorico" for what we now call Puerto Rico.
