Founder's Park is a city park in Farmington Hills, Michigan. It is a large sports park with a number of soccer and baseball fields, in addition to an ice arena and skateboard park. The park closes at dusk. The information sign did not indicate an opening time but it would be safest to assume it does not open until after dawn. The cache is in a wooded area. There is a disc golf course through the woods and near the cache so be aware of watchers. The cache is a camo painted rectanglular Lock & Lock container with a log book and some trade items. Please bring your own pencil or pen. Please be sure to restore the hiding place in a similar condition.
My seven year old son and I placed two caches and played some baseball. It was a good day.
This cache should be accessible during the winter. It might not be if there has been a heavy amount of snow that stayed. During the winter, the parking lot is limited to the paved area near the ice arena.
