We were staying a couple blocks away so we had to come check out the Space Needle on our last night in Seattle. Strange to find a cache here owned by someone I know back in Charlotte, NC. Thanks for the cache!

In the Area for Geocaching Block Party.  They set up a lab cache near by. So I made the grab on this one as well

I was in Seattle to watch some baseball games (Blue Jays lost Yell ) then attend the Block Party at groundspeak at the end of the week.  My wife and I took a ride on the monorail and toured the Glass Museum at the Space Needle park.  Excellent works of art.

Thanks for the Cache!

I was in town for a conference and did some caching and Munzeeing with TheBadCop (including Geocaching HQ and the GeoTour) during the day.  Later that night, I went down to the Needle by myself, but was running late, so I didn't go up (didn't want to miss the last shuttle back to the hotel).  My phone is my camera and GPS, so I can't show it in pictures.  In order to get this angle, I couldn't get myself in the shot.  It was extremely cold and there were not a lot of people about to help get the shot. I hope this will work well enough.  Wish I had come on Saturday night as we got snow then.

I was visiting in the area (well, sort of - I was in Vancouver BC) and of course had to do some caches.  At the last minute I thought to hit the OCUS website to see what was nearby and lo-and-behold there is one from FailedApparatus sitting there.  I made my over to ground zero but didn't even try to be stealthy as the 42nd Anual Northwest Folklife Festival was occcuring in the park and there were thousands (maybe 10s of thousands) of people about.  I paid 15 bucks to park for 20 minutes, but I got two smileys out of it.
