I was in the area finding several caches and this virtual popped up on my radar so I wandered over to make the find. Not as easy as I thought it would be!! After walking around the GZ area (and then walking to another virtaul cache nearby), I ended up asking a man eating lunch at a nearby bench if he knew where the time capsule was located. He did know, but it still took us a minute or two to locate it! Thanks for another cool virtual in Matthews.

Was down from Maryland with sfcchaz for a (mostly) alt-caching run thru Charlotte.  This was day two, after a surprisingly well attended 0630 (AKA o'dark thirty) event at Krispy Kreme (maybe that explains it).

Was glad to log the nearby GS puzzle after reading the warning on the cache page and deciding to look around.

We had a great time and definitely plan to make a return trip some time.

I think I know why it goes unnoticed.  It took an unusual amount of time to find it and we were looking for it!  I guessed over.

DudleyGrunt and I came down to North Carolina to seek some OCNA caches. They are many, many OCNA caches in the Charlotte area and we wanted to seek them during the current contest going on the OCNA site.

Today I found 45 OCNA cahes, 5 Groundspeak caches, 1 GPSgames.org cache , 1 Opencaching.com cache and several possible Terracaching.com locationless caches.

We had a pretty tough time locacting the object of interest. DG was about to speak to a gentleman in the gazebo when he happened to walk almost on top of it. TFTC

Got home from shopping and noticed this cache was published.  I was thinking I might be able to get this tonight because I know right where this is in Matthews, NC.  So on my way to pick up my daughter and her date at her Prom, I stopped by here and not only am I FTF, I beat Termitehunter!!!!
