Description EN

I've been thinking about placing an OC.US cache for some time now, and the Truly Well-Rounded Cacher LC Terracache posted by DudleyGrunt has motivated me to get it done today. So, it's named in his honor - O.C.D. = OpenCache for Dave.

It's a small waterproof container in the woods at George Washington Park, a Fairfax County Parks Authority park. This park has a very nice Rec Center and several good soccer fields. It was the home field for the younger SoccerFanatic's Lee-Mount Vernon rec soccer team for many seasons, so visiting here to place a cache brought back many fond memories. FCPA allows caches in this park without obtaining additional permission, as long as they follow certain rules. The park is open dawn to dusk every day.

Park in the lot by the Rec Center and walk back alongside the road you drove in on. You will enter the woods sooner or later. A bit of stealth is required when looking for this one; don't made your entry into the woods too obvious. Once in the woods, you'll be mostly screened from passersby, although when all the leaves are off the trees and bushes, you may need a higher level of stealth. The container holds a log sheet with the Password, a very small pencil stub, and there was room to squeeze in one small kiddie item as well.

We hope you enjoy visiting this park.
