This is my first Guest Book cache. The guest Book is located inside the Living Water Wayside Chapel on the Niagara Parkway, between Niagara Falls and Niagara-on-the-Lake. This popular tourist stop sees many visitors each year, despite it's minature size.
This chaple is generally open to the public daily, but the occational wedding (yes, they do rent this six-seat chapel out for weddings) may put the guest book temporarily out-of-reach. The chapel may also be closed duing the winter; it was open when we visited on Dec 26th 2014, despite the sign saying that it was closed for the season. There is no fee to stop here, but donations are accepted.
I previously listed the chapel on Waymarking.com, in the "Continental Reformed and Congregational Church Sites" category. You can see the waymark, with additional photos, here: The Living Water Wayside Chapel - Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario
The following text is taken from that Waymark:
This miniature chapel was built in 1969 and served as a waychapel for tourist to the popular Niagara region. It was relocated to its current location in 2012 and underwent renovation. With seating for six, this chapel is available for weddings and at other times is just open to tourists for a stop and rest.
It is not clear who currently owns or manages the chapel. The website www.niagaraweddingscanada.com/weddingsites.htm directs parties interested in being married at this chapel to contact the Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake. However, no information about the chapel can be found on the town's website.
The church address listed on the sign (4878 Jepson St, Niagara Fall) corresponds to Living Waters Fellowship in Niagara Falls (Ontario); unfortunately there is no website for that congregation and no information online to provide details about the church or it's connection to the Wayside chapel.
Some websites state that the chapel is the smallest chapel in the world. I have not been able to verify this claim.
