Description EN

This is a two stage virtual cache. You will need to visit both locations and post a photo of your self at each. You will have to walk past one to reach the other. A sample of each is posted at the bottom of this cache page.

Stage 1: Walking The  Plank (N 42° 01.700 W 070° 11.613)

To get to the lighthouse you will have to walk across a narrow section of rocks. It is stable but there is of course always a chance of injury when you cross uneven terrain. Also beware to mind the time of the tides as you would hate to be stuck out at the Lighthouse for hours. Here is our photo crossing the rocks.

Stage 2: Wood End Light House (N 42° 01.274 W 070° 11.612)

Wood End Light Lookout Station is an historic lighthouse, located at the southwest end of Long Point in Provincetown, Massachusetts. It is located at Wood End, near the southernmost extent of the Provincetown Spit, and acts as a navigational aid to vessels on their approach to Provincetown Harbor.

The light was first illuminated on November 20, 1872 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1987. In 1981, Wood End Light became the first Massachusetts lighthouse to be converted to use solar energy to power the light and fog signal equipment.

Here is our photo in front of the Lighthouse.

To cliam this cache you must post photos at both locations.
