I had planned on a nice Huffy Scooter ride along the paved trail. Even got it out of the trunk. But I parked in an area that was previously unknown to myself, and the GPSr read only .2 miles (as the crow flies) to the cache. I stopped at a nearby "wildlife viewing area", which was quite overgrown, got my bearings, and said to myself "self, you can get there on the dirt and rock trail". Which I did, it rather quickly led me to the paved bike trail. I got to the cache site, and it too was overgrown, just like the wildlife viewing area! I was worried about picking up some ticks, but I spotted the BIT rather quiclkly. Thanks for placing this, ourstanding location.

P.S. Mr. Mum is lying when he says you have to park 1.9 miles one way from Fish's spawn. If you park where I did, it's probably under a mile, one way. Of course I took him up on his 4 mile round trip in the winter in 2006 or something like that.

3426. My sixth find on Sunday. Enjoyed the walk to and back. Only saw one family on the trail. Thanks for the view and excuse to come out here. Found a Munzee, while searching.

Headed over to the island today to knock off some of your new bitcaches and maybe try this munzee thing. After striking out at the first munzee I came to, I headed here hoping for better luck. No problems scanning anything over here. Haven't been over in this part of the park in years so thanks for getting me to come back.
