Third stop on our drive between the Buffalo Museum of Science to Niagara Falls NY. After picking up our first two OCNA cache find (A guestbook cache and a virtual), we stopped off on Grand Island for two BIT caches. This the first of those. Wasn't sure if I was going to get to it, the ground looked very soggy, muddy, and wet. Glad I brought the rubber boots. At first I thought it might be missing, but nope, the bit is if good shape still after 3 years in place. Thanks GOF for the BIT, our first! Greetings from Hamilton, Ontario, the OCNA capital of Canada (well, at 10 caches and counting, I think it might just be - but I'm a bit biased).

3421. We've got NIKE sites around DC, too (of coure) and some caches set around, them. Made the find quickly.

Passing over the Island to fix my own two Bit Caches along the River in Niagara Falls. Gof knows this, but do not try to hide clear taped bit caches in the rain. I changed the attachment method of both of them. One was still in place, but I found the other one on the ground 15 feet away. This was the only one of the 3 new Bit Caches on the Island I had time for, doing it after work at night. Drove way past it at first, but then circled around to the correct area, and found it pretty quickly. Made sure there were no ticks on me, and left.

I had an idea of where this bit would be but left the exact location a mystery so as to be surprised as to which QR code I would find first. This was the one I spotted first. Lots of kids around when I arrived but by the time I got back to my car they were back inside.
