Got the mass email from the OCNA team today about how they would like to get 1,000 active caches and 2,000 finds by the anniversary in 16 days. I figured yeah, it's Mrs. Yuck's weekly late night at work, I'm sure I can find one or two on the way home. This here park fit the bill, with the multitude of Munzees too. Except the GPS is at home. So I fire up the Czech Republic Opencaching App on Union Road, and it doesn't seem to want to update my distance. I get to the park, and it says 1,300 yards to the cache. Yes, in imperial units, it reads yards, not feet. If you think about it, that is more equivalent to Meters anyways, which our Canadian and European friends use. So the arrow works, but it says 1,300 yards the whole time. I just followed the arrow to a logical spot, and viola, BIT cache. And how about that, voila, Munzee very close by too. A twofer, as they say. Very nice park for Munzees and BIT's, which of course I've been to many times for Geocaching. Will try the Terracache someday, and I missed one Munzee. Thanks for the cache. Oh, and good thing I took a picture of that logging password, eh? That's not one you're going to memorize.
