Down from Maryland, visiting with family. Decided to check on this one. Bushes seem to have been trimmed back and I didn't see the cache.

Thanks and Happy Trails!

@ 5:08 PM
2nd cache of the day. Out w/ son Mic for a ''guys day'' and happened upon this site after a torrencial rain storm the night before. Ground was wet but we still enjoyed getting around.

Found something really cool. Munzee bar code near the cache coords. My idea of ''Take me away" is pictured...LOL.

Nice park under the shade of a huge man-made structure.Surprised

Found a new spot for Take Me Away, near the former location of a cache I found during my second geocaching vacation to Surfside Beach (SC) in 2007 - Muggler's Park. At times, this park will likely be occupied by children / families. Please be wise, when attempting to retrieve this cache. Strategic parking should help, to some degree. Scissors or a pocket knife would also be useful, since I've secured the container in place. It won't be difficult, if you come prepared, however.

New location: N 33 36.147 W 078 59.100.

3525. Picked up the cache and will be taking it to South Carolina.

Had been worried that it might be raining / thundering this afternoon. Happy to have bright skies, after work, though.

I placed my first cache about twice as far down this trail. Think I may place a few new ones along this side of the river, even though th posted restrictions are getting a little out of hand. NO NUDITY?! How are folks supposed to fully enjoy the great outdoors?

Well, back to the cache. made my way down the trail to within about 80' feet of GZ and found a nice approach up hill. Spotted a large tree at about the right distance and, as expected, a little pile of sticks on its far side. Cache in hand, I headed back to the trail and my car.

Even better, I managed to remain fully clothed the entire time. Hope the park service happy.

Was glad to find another GeoKret in the cache, as a bonus.

The log sheet refers to the cache as "Take Me Away". Would you (the CO) like me to correct that? [CO since updated the online name.]

Thanks and Happy Trails!

Thanks, Chaz! Hopefully, I can grab this one before I had to NC (and maybe take with me) .

[Fixed log type.]

N 39 08.037 W 076 49.837 : D/T-2/2.5 - approximately a .6 mile round trip on a nice crushed rock path until the last 50 feet on south side of the river. Parking can be found on Foundry Street next to the old truss bridge.

I haven't been on this side of the river in quite some time so I thought it would be a good place for this one. Plus it's closer to most folks interested. This way perhaps it can get one or two more finds before the 18 August anniversary.

Smile FTF Smile 2:13 PM. I had the day off and wanted to grab a few of the new OCUS caches that popped up in the area. I got this one out of the cache: Dylan To The Rescue.

I've been to this park many times. And of lot of those times you can thank cycleangela for. Wink I had GZ (or at least the bridge) in my mind's eye just by reading the desription on how to get to GZ for Dylan To The Rescue.

It was a nice hike to the cache on an overcast day, but on the way out the sun popped out and I was soaked with sweat by the time I got to the car. TFTC
