It's there 10 months after the last finders, it's in excellent shape, and works fine! Great hiding spot for this. No one is ever going to stumble on it, and it's well protected from the elements! I suppose it's not the most permanent object, and a City or County worker (whoever maintains the trail) could move it, or even replace it with a new one! But I'm sure the CO will keep an eye on that. Myself and my two 13 yr. old traveling companions stumbled around for a few minutes, before I read the cache page more carefully, and saw that the cache page pretty much tells you where it is in plan text, as opposed to a hint. Of course we checked that, but not good enough on the first sweep. Got it and plugged it in, and it worked no problem. Signed the log, and saved it of course, to the flash drive itself. Thanks for the first find of this type for one of the admins of the website! We are definitely proud of the way this one was done, and hope to see many more of this type in the future!
EDIT 2+ years later to give a recommenation, which is exactly the same as a Groundspeak "favorite point", and copied exactly from The OpenCaching Network.

Congratulations to DJCreekCachers on the FTF!!! Including this cache, there are only 4 DeadDrop caches within 6000 miles of this location as of Sept. 8 2012 - and only 3 have been found - this being the third...

This was an awesome experience. It was our first Dead Drop Cache. Lucky for us we only had to drive 15 minutes to get to it. After arriving at the posted coordinates we set out trying to find the Dead Drop Flash Drive. It took several minutes of both of us searching, but we finally found it. That wound up being the easy part as retrieving it was somewhat harder. We were beginning to think we might not retrieve it, but persistence paid off and before too long we had it in hand. Since we already had our laptop fired up (with 3G access), we plopped the flash drive in and presto, the two text files appeared, just as advertised. We read the readme file and then opened the log file and entered our information as requested. After saving the file, we safely removed the flash drive and replaced it as we found it. This gave us the inspiration to get one put out ourselves. Stay tuned. Thanks to Bernoulli for placing this one. As a side note, we called Sonny, Sandy, and Sean on the Podcacher Hotline before heading over to Xenia. After getting our FTF, we called them back to report our good fortunes. Listen to the next show to see if they feature this cache. TFTDDC and Keep on Cachin'
