Was jogging the trails of the park while my son was practicing baseball and we decided to make a quick hunt for this one while there.  Lots of music still in the cache but we had nothing with us to trade.  Interesteing that there were several signatures with more recent dates on the log than what has been logged on the site here.  Cache is still in great shape - thanks for maintaining.

Found this afternoon with Kobit and Cada. I didn't know anything about the history of this cache. So, I was shocked when I looked in the cache and found the old log and it had my name on it. I found it in 2008 when it was affliated with a different site. That caused me to do a little investigation upon returning home. The cache was in good condition and we enjoyed our short hike at the park. TFTC!

Found out with goinPostnet. We didn't have any thing to swap, but when I do I hope I can still get the 3 cd set of the Grateful Dead in Greensboro 1990.

On a cold afternoon with snow fluries I ventured into a closed Idlewild Park on foot. No muggles around whatsoever. At GZ I had to search more than I might have during another time of year. I had to with my poky stick burst thorugh ice and crusted snow here and there to find the cache container. All was dry and in good shape which was a bit of a surprise given that the last find was almost 6 months ago. But then, not so surprising, given the tried and true type of container, only slightly less venerable than the good ol' ammo can.

Was down from Maryland with sfcchaz for a (mostly) alt-caching run thru Charlotte.  This was day two, after a surprisingly well attended 0630 (AKA o'dark thirty) event at Krispy Kreme (maybe that explains it).

Was glad to log the nearby GS puzzle after reading the warning on the cache page and deciding to look around.

We had a great time and definitely plan to make a return trip some time.

Wish I'd had some my cousin's music with me.  He's a singer songwriter in Nashville trying to make it.  He's played at the Bluebird Cafe a number of times (see the Nashville TV show).  One day, he'll make it, I'm sure.

DudleyGrunt and I came down to North Carolina to seek some OCNA caches. They are many, many OCNA caches in the Charlotte area and we wanted to seek them during the current contest going on the OCNA site.

Today I found 45 OCNA cahes, 5 Groundspeak caches, 1 GPSgames.org cache , 1 Opencaching.com cache and several possible Terracaching.com locationless caches.

Very nicely hidden, loved the old school hide. TFTC

Okay so my husband found this one accidentally while mushroom hunting. This is our first one we have found. Logged into Geocaching.com to find it just to find out it was archived. Lucky we read the actual paper log and found this place. Thank you for starting a new hobby with the family. The  whole thing was wet inside so we took it home and cleaned and dried. Lots of music inside and didn't have a cd to add to the collection but did add a wine cork that I just finished. We did place it back where we found it for others to find. This is a beginning of something new.
