So way back when, I forgot to log that I attended this event. Then when I remembered it was archived and couldn't log an attended. But according to Mr.Yuck he seems to have fixed the problem so here I am.

I was with havogeo at the time and we waited at a table nearby, completely unaware the gathering was a couple hundred feet away from us. She eventually left and I strolled over to see if the group was actually the meetup, and it was! So we chatted a bit and went and found a cache nearby. It was nice meeting SparrowsGold and cycleangela. Thanks for organizing the event DG, even though I didn't get to be there the whole time.

Regrets on missing the noon meet time. Family insisted on noon lunchtime by Discovery Center! Finally got the crew to GZ around 1pm. Not all was lost... close enough to nab a nearby cache. Until next time... safe journeys to all.

Thanks for those who could make it out and regrets to those who could not - paricularly KASCAN. Thanks for all the new OCNA caches.

I did two of KASCAN's on a hike around the loop with my cousins (myquest13 / coolbuddy6 / cb6's dad) and am thinking of cancelling plans to go out to the Space Coast event, so I'll have more time to the find your others and some local TC's.

Hopefully, I'll be out in Missouri for XII and we can do this again.

Based on feedback from FSUDad, I've updated the coords. Still will be rough, but I'll be there on the lookout and have a laminated Geocachers Unlimited logo / sign.

"I would recommend meeting up by the old cow camp - N27° 59.534' W081° 51.557' – It is out of the way, but not far (.25) from the event and this is where everyone will be hanging their banners. It is near the start of the Wherigo - GC49V1Y. I have attached a map of the trails and marked approximately where the Cow Camp is with a black mark. Most of the event will be around the Nature Discovery Center and the vendors will be set up along the Shady Oak trail leading to the lake."
