I decided to come over to the eastern shore of Maryland to seek several types of geo-based items: two GeoVexilla Flags worth 16 points each to me, 6 opencaching.us geocaches at the Chesapeake Bay Environmental Center and grab another cache in the 76th degree - 1st minute longitude for a different challenge cache. As a bonus I came across another one of the many roadside Veteran Memorials I like to visit. I will likely turn it into a virtual cache on a site or two.
I visited the Visitor Center and the adjacent building, but could not find anyone to speak to about paying and to discuss the problem with Geo2. As DudleyGrunt mentioned, these were easy finds (except #2) and it was a beautiful day to vsit the CBEC.
This one did cause me to circle a few times. My GPSr was bouncing all over the place here. All the other caches seemed to have pretty good coordinates, but once I found this one, I had it about 70 feet from where my GPSr said GZ was. Take that with a grain of salt. Seek the most notable object nearby and look there first. TNLN TFTC

I had the day off and thought it was a good time to head over to the Eastern Shore to grab these, finally. After stopping by the center to say hello to the CO, I headed out to check on 2 of my caches then made my way the opposite way around the lake.
Found this one to be in good shape. Took nothing, left a 1940 US nicklel. This one was wet since the bag that contained the log book was hanging out of the container. It was closed, but the bag was still hanging out. Thinking it has been stumbled upon, I tucked it "in between" the two vertical elements it was laying next to. Still clearly visible from a distance.
Thanks and Happy Trails!
