Thanks to DG for putting together this OCUS event.  I got to put faces to several MD cachers I've only read of via their logs.  Even the occassional flicker of the lights with a passing t-storm didn't dim the fun.  See you next year!

This was a nice event for a worthy cause. 'Cause I needed to pick up a couple other OCUS caches in the area. Wink Just a little try at humor there. The food was very good and we all had a good time sharing all sorts of caching stories.

We got started just in time. Shortly after, it started raining so hard, we couldn't see the cars in the parking lot. We also lost power ever so briefly due to a nearby lightning strike.

2898.  I very much enjoyed the small group event and our discussion.  With bigger events, you don't often get the chance to have this type of in depth conversation.

Thanks to those who came out and made this a successful (if small) event.  I've been encouraged to relaunch my monthly (or so) meet & greets.

I hope to check and see what folks thought about the location and if we should return.

Still waiting for my work schedule to firm up, but I'll be there if I can .  I'm glad to see them popping up all over the country and I hope to hear a few shot outs on the various geocaching podcasts.  Cool

I, of course, will attend my own event.  I will likely have my son (JuniorNimrod), mom (Dudley's Mom), uncle (ROOKIE49) and aunt in tow.
