It's been two years since I last went hunting an Opencache, and even longer since I last found a BIT cache. I ventured forth today to grab the only ones still within casual driving distance.

I think this structure was designed to help control the water flow, for what reason I don't know. It's a neat place to visit. Thanks!

3404. Enjoyed the walk out and back, as well as discovering this artifact of past times. Also felt right at home with the Black-Eyed Susans along the trail - they're the State Flower of Maryland.

Took a minute to locate, but the BIT is fine shape.

Logging directly from the site because of excellent cell reception and its not too windy at the cache. Was probably going to head out here today anyways to find the two newest OCNA caches, but the owner texted me earlier in the day and kind of demanded I do so. Had no troubles at all locating this one as my GPS read 4' when I found it, so Maggie has done good. Thanks for the hide pal.<br /> <br /> Edit to add: OK, I'm home now so I can log a little more. In hindsight, I guess the owner didn't really "demand" me to go out here. It was a gentle suggestion.

So I've walked across this odd concrete structure a few times over the years while caching in the area. It certainly is interesting in it's purpose, which I have no idea what that could be.

Second find of a rainy afternoon. Since I was FTF on the other cache, I am claiming FTF for this one also. Day was unseasonably warm but wet. I tried to use the code reader on my phone but it didn't like the rain and refused to cooperate. TFTC
