Was hoping for a Sabrefan7 hat-trick this weekend but I went oh-for-none on this one. Found myself in a few precarious locations while searching, made me wonder just how good my out-of-country medical coverage would be. Kids had fun at the playground while I was searching so no loss for the stop. It;s a nice park that I suspect has many letterboxes but I didn;t have the clues. What, there's a lighthouse in that park? no one told me! Now I really need to plan a return visit.

Thought it was in my GPS, but it wasn't. Managed to look up on the smartphone, and get the coordinates. Found pretty quickly once I arrived on site. Great spot, excellent coordinates. A couple female cachers were there in early August who haven't logged, they'll be hearing from me later! Did not trade, TFTC.

I guess I should log this one. After all, I've been here twice. It's a nice spot for a cache. I enjoyed the walk, both times.

Found while walking the trails in the park today. Sorry for the delay in logging just must have forgotten.

3421.  First cache of the day, after a little bit of a later start than I'd hoped for.  Took a little while to find the right approach (tried hard to make it more difficult than necessary) and a few minutes of searching, after getting near GZ.

Great cache and in fine shape.

Thanks and Happy Trails!

Well I wanted to go after this one on Saturday, but I was talked out of it by the semi-obnoxious old schooler mentioned in the description. After all, there were 50+ mph winds out there so I guess the guy had a point. Instead I waited till Sunday to make a special trip to Como Lake Park to find this one and whatever other GC caches I could come up with. Wasn't sure which was the proper way to head towards the cache, and ended up choosing the wrong one. It wasn't horribly the wrong path, but it could have been easier. Nearly the whole way the trail was squishy but I managed to stay mud free. After a short search I had the cache in hand. Nicely done SF7, thanks for placing it.

Just about an hour ago I was telling szuchie about how beat up and sore I was after a long day of caching and death defying stunts yesterday.  I vowed to make this an r and r day with thoughts of breakfast in bed and pj s till noon.  Of course that lasted about fifteen minutes and i decided to relax in the breeze wearing muckboots.  i fou d it quickly signed in and headed out.  thanks for placing it as it my inspire a certain cranky bad footed senior cacher to travel to lancaster and i will be able to mooch beers from him
