The Healing Garden at Baltimore Washington Medical Center is a serene and beautifully landscaped spot that patients, visitors and employees enjoy year-round.
Located behind the Tate Cancer Center, the 8,000 sf garden features brilliant flowers, several hillside gardens, a winding stream, benches and a rectangular reflecting pool. The garden walkway also features hundreds of bricks, inscribed with names of friends and loved ones.
The garden provides a convenient place for patients and their families to relax, meditate or just take a break from treatment. Visitors enjoy strolling through, admiring the landscaping, looking for a friend or family member's name on one of the inscribed bricks, sitting on a garden bench, and writing thoughts into a community journal, while enjoying the healing qualities of the prevalent water features within the space.
The Infusion Therapy rooms overlook the healing garden through expansive windows, allowing patients indoors to still enjoy the restorative qualities of the garden.
Logging Requirement:
1. Visit the site in person.
2. Please post a photo of you / your GPS / other geocaching specific item with the bench.

When sitting on the bench, look to your right. You'll see a glass, exit door. Count the number of window panes between the top of the door and the roof. Log Password is in numeric form (not spelled out).
Please don't rush in and out of here. Take some time to enjoy this space and, of course, be respectful of those any patients or visitors who may be here.
