This cache is cross-lsited from another site. The owner of that cache, Star-Beam has graciously allowed me to re-publish this cache for us to enjoy.
Webcam caches REQUIRE a picture from the webcam with the cacher in the frame. Pictures from any other source than the webcam itself are not acceptable to log a Find. NOTE: Due to recent issues with logs that do not meet the criteria, if a pic from the webcam showing the cacher in the frame is not included with the Find log, that log will be deleted without prior explanation or notice.
I know there are a lot of solo Geocachers out there and "snagging" a webcam cache can be challenging if you don't have access to a geo-buddy to "snap" the picture. I've run into this problem myself, so I was on the look-out for a webcam cache that could be done solo. So you could say, my "Yankee Ingenuity" led me to this one.
This webcam is located in the parking lot of the Yankee Publishing Company. They publish Yankee Magazine as well as The Old Farmer's Almanac.
To log this one solo, just head on over to the quaint New England village of Dublin, NH. Located on NH Rt. 101 between Peterborough & Keene.
Stand in the view of the webcam preferrably holding your GPSr and wait for the top-of-the-hour. As long as you log on to the website within 24 hours, your picture will still be there.
One way to log this cache is to use an internet terminal across the street at the Dublin Public Library (OPEN 4:00PM-8:00PM).
