In 1896 this was the site of a windmil driven waterpump. It supplied water for twelve local homes. Approximately five miles to the northeast you can see a handful of modern windmills the reside on the site of the defunct Bethlehem Steel. But these windmills are not pumping water. They are driving electical generators.
There is a sign at this location that lists many of the interesting locations in the area. Take a few minutes to enjoy the sceenery and learn a bit of local history.
