Located at the Democrat Crossing Bridge. Earliest reference to a bridge at site was back in May of 1884. Since then several bridges have spanned this spot. An iron tressel bridge was built in 1890 by the King Iron Bridge Manufacturing Company for the cost $3,400. In its day, it was well traveled as it was the shortest route from Bryan to Iola. Now the bridge is wooden and one lane.
