I'm going to roll with the "close enough" clause, per my pic posted. I have a long history of having the cops called on me while Geocaching, and I'm not about to get out of the car and act like a weirdo on W. Bergen Rd. whilst trying to zero out my GPSr. Laughing I have been there before for a long since archived Geocaching.com cache, and I actually own a virtual Munzee at the posted coords.

Headed south of the border again this weekend (well, actually a lot more east and just a bit south) but this time it was adults only, no kids (first time in 8 years that we've been able to say that). We traveled to the Finger Lakes area to enjoy a romantic anniversary weekend - by romantic, I mean stopping to find caches, garage sales, thrift shops, driving secondary highways, stuff like that.

This was our second cache stop on the trip, and our first time being at a point of confluence like this. I expected to head into the roadway to get the zero's, but instead found myself backing off the road and onto the shoulder. Odd. Anyway, got the zero's, got the photo, and didn't even try for the gc.com questionable cache also posted at these coords. This is the kind of location for which the virtual is replaceable .

In the end, we found 6 OCNA caches (and dnf'd two), also visited the oldest geocache in the state and picked up two other gc.com caches plus a few qualifiers for some TerraCaching locationless caches. A good weekend all around. Thanks Sabrefan7 for supplying 5 of the 6 OCNA caches that we found this weekend.

I was at this exact spot almost 4 years ago to the day with the cacher formerly known as TWU. At the time, I was doing it for waymarking purposes and also to successfully find the nearby frog cache. Since I was in the area, sort of, and heading to Canandaigua, I figured I'd stop by again to see how accurate the new GPS can be. I say accurate since DeLorme's display 4 decimal places instead of the typical 3. After moving around within my car for a few mintues, the closest I could get to having all zeroes was 43° 0.0001 78° 0.0001, so I got the 3 as requested but couldn't go for 4. I wonder how much .0001 minutes translates into, in inches? TFTC and a great end to an OCUS caching day.

This has been on the todo list for WAY too long. So we stopped by on our way back from Rottenchester the other day. Unfortunately our picture of the GPS sucks. But we did get the one in the car down to all 9s.

Out and about when we decided to pick up a few caches before ending our day.  Two birds (OCUS and GC) with one stone (our GPSr) at this cache!  It took a little walking and turning around, and then quite a few baby steps to get the GPSr to show the zeros... but we did it!  It was a great feeling!  Definitely neat!  An excellent virtual cache!!

Found with DudleyGrunt on the way from Maryland to Niagara Falls, prior to GeoWoodstock.  Convenient that this was located along the road and not in the middle of someone's house.  Thank you!

2766.  I got it, but had lots of trouble trying to get a decent pic.  Not sure if it was the bright noon sunshine or my camera, but I finally got on (a bit blurry).  I think you'll be able to make it out, though.

Wish c:geo was still working.  I'd have tried to find the GC.com cache.  Ah, well.

Happy Trails!

There is a geocache hidden there but not at the exact coordinates. I did not find it

There used to be a physical cache here I believe.    Maybe it's still here?
