I was up the road at City Wildlife for one of my periodic drop-offs for a friend. S. She collects newspapers and cardboard rolls for them. As is. I'm closer. I will periodically come down and drop them off for her. And I usually try to find a local cache while I'm down here. Saw this one and thought I had to get it. It's been forever since I've logged an OC cache and especially a physical OC cache.
Wish I had noticed this sooner after publication. Unfortunately I hadn't read the full page and when I got to the gate I wasn't sure if I'd be able to get in or not. I just told him I was coming to the cottage and he gave me directions and everything just has the cache page actually says.
After taking a self-guided tour, I made my way to the appropriate room and checked it out a little bit without finding anything. I talked to the lady working the desk in the gift shop. She's only been here for 6 months so she wasn't familiar with it. I left my name and number for Joan to call me.
Not sure if this was originally cross-listed or not and then archived on GC but not here or if it was uniquely listed here. Depending on what Joan says I may reach out to the troop and see if they're interested in replacing.
Thanks & Happy Trails, GS Troop 5383!
