GOT IT!
I know you don't believe me, TH, but I have had my eye on this cache since publish. It has been on my "to-do" list since 2010. That's right - it takes me nearly 4 years to get time to do stuff like this!
I scouted this cache a week or so ago to see how accessible the "Trailhead" is this time of year. Not too bad. Today was the day! I suited up with kneepads (REQUIRED - I don't know how you could do this without pads) and waders (depends on the day - today it was nearly dry and I could have done it in water shoes or even sneakers... when I checked a week or so ago, there was a good 6 inches of water at least at the trailhead).
I was so jazzed to get to this I left the house without a key piece of tackle... MY FLASHLIGHT! I even had a headlamp I acquired for this very purpose that I left at home. Geeez. I realized my blunder when I parked my car. Makes me so mad. I peoceeded anyway, in the interest of finishing up the cache quickly so I could re-join my family for Memorial Day festivities faster. I figured a cell phone flashlight could do.
Long story short, I was successful! I had a blast with this. I'll attach a pic. I am VERY thankful that the cache was not placed farther from the "Trailhead". I was READY to make that find right where it was. I don't know if I would have gone another pipe.
By the way, I can totally see how Foxult missed the hide. TH's idea of "hidden in plain sight" is different than mine (and a lot of people's)! Great hide.
Thanks for the cache, TH! I have "recommended" this cache. I am glad to be the first visitor in over a year. More peeps need to try this out!
