I love historic sites like this; the ones you can really explore. Found the cache no problem in the much-needed shade. The farm cats were wandering and lazing about as I signed, and families were picnicking and playing by the lake.
After the find, we took a walk around the farm itself and I marveled at every detail, from the simplicity of the blacksmith shop to the shape of the doors in the carraigehouse.
Thanks so much for the opportunity to find an opencache! They're few and far between here, but just as fun as any other. :)
